Love 3.0, a Tamil romantic film cast entirely with Instagram influencers, has unveiled its first look. The film stars Aranika, known to her million-plus followers as Reels Akka, alongside fellow social media personalities Coimbatore Maapla and Karthikeyan KN Smiley.

The first look was launched at Marina Mall on Old Mahabalipuram Road in Chennai. Producer Soundar, best known for producing the Vijay and Ajith starrer Rajavin Paarvaiyile, was the chief guest and unveiled the poster alongside the cast. Director Ranjith Kumar and lyricist Sorko were also present.

Aranika, whose real name is Preethi Kaliyaperumal, has already made inroads into the film industry through music video collaborations with G.V. Prakash Kumar. She is also set to appear as the female lead in an upcoming G.V. Prakash film. Speaking about Love 3.0, she said the film explores how her generation experiences romance. “I’ve done justice to the challenging role I was given,” she said. “I hope you’ll support me in the film world too.”

Karthikeyan KN Smiley, one of the two male leads, comes from Rajapalayam. “I was doing small things on Instagram, and it has brought me to this point,” he said. “I’ve come to Chennai trusting your support.”

Love 3.0 is written and directed by Rajesh VK and produced by Sivakumar under the Monkey Minds Entertainment banner. It features cinematography by Vedhai Pa. Mahesh and music by Vaikunth Srinivasan.
